Duties will include:

• Manage the Company’s accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure proper internal controls are developed, implemented and monitored.
• Lead, manage and train team members.
• Lead the credit control function, ensuring that agreed credit terms and limits are maintained by customers.
• Ensure the collection of money and reduction of overdue debtor accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Visiting clients as required.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• At least three (3) years’ experience at supervisory level in receivables and/or other Accounting functions
• Completed or partial completion of the ACCA, CGA or equivalent programme
• Experience of leading and managing a team
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of accounting packages, Microsoft Excel and Word. Working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Possess excellent negotiating, analytical and numerical skills with the commercial awareness to identify key indicators and turn them into operational reality
• Diplomatic with excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication both written and oral with business partners, customers and staff
• Highly organised and deadline driven with excellent time management skills
