Baker Tilly (Barbados) SCC is an independent member firm of Baker Tilly International and is currently seeking highly motivated Audit Seniors.
AUDIT SENIOR I

Must have reached level II in ACCA programme or equivalent.

At least three years’ experience in preparing financial statements at a senior level.
AUDIT SENIOR II

• Must have a recognized professional qualification, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• At least four years’ experience in preparing financial statements at a senior or supervisory level.
• Requirements of Audit Seniors I and II:
• Experience in an external audit environment as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Peachtree, QuickBooks or Accpac software.
• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers, Audit software, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs and International standards on Auditing.
• Self-motivation with a commitment to quality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
• Plan and perform statutory audits.
• Preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES & CHARACTER

• Performance of diversified financial and risk-based audits.
• Planning and executing financial and internal control audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in different industries.
• Must be committed to working as part of a Team.
• Supervision of junior staff.
• Emotionally intelligent with interpersonal skills set that build trust and goodwill in relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.
